Short-form work changes the questions asked before a shoot. A production needs to understand where a story will live, how it will be watched and which details carry meaning in a small frame.
Design the capture plan around multiple perspectives. A hero setup, a close detail and a candid moment can each tell a useful part of the same story. That does not require endless extra footage.
Leave room for responsiveness. A performer may find a gesture that works better than the script. A location may offer a stronger background. An organised team can make space for those discoveries.
The goal is not to make every film look like a feed. It is to give every format an intentional role. Production becomes more efficient when the story and its uses are clear before the camera rolls.
