Inside Out
Room for many different voices.
An editorial direction for a fictional design programme. Flexible layouts and a clear content hierarchy make room for many voices.
Challenge
Inside Out is a fictional design programme with an editorial focus. Its challenge is to introduce many participants while giving visitors a clear sense of the programme as a whole.
Strategy
The strategy starts with a shared framework and different perspectives. Contributors are connected by curiosity, while their own work and language remain distinct.
Identity
Circular portraits and material studies sit within a flexible typographic system. The identity can act as a quiet frame or a strong invitation, depending on the context.

Campaign
The illustrative campaign pairs interior photographs with editorial extracts and participant perspectives. It gives people and ideas equal space.

Digital
The digital direction uses a clear content hierarchy for stories, contributors and programme information. A useful reading experience sits behind each expressive entry point.
Motion
Circular transitions mark the shift from browsing to reading. Motion slows around long-form content and has a complete reduced-motion alternative.
Results & credits
The original RIVE editorial concept is retained and expanded here. The programme is fictional; no actual participants, partnerships or audience outcomes are claimed.
Concept, direction, design and development: Midenus. All campaign imagery and studio profiles are illustrative.
